Found Weird format sheet acros 100 (8.2*11.8cm) I need to get rid of!

I have somehow once again ended up in possession of some strange format sheet film acros 100. I have two 20 sheets boxes of 2003 exp 8.2 by 11.8cm acros 100. I would like to trade this film for some other film in 35mm/120/or 4x5 (a normal format that I can shoot and develop) but I am also open to cash offers. Thank you!

That comes out to 4.25x3.25 inch, I think that was some of the middle sized press cameras. larger than 2x3 and smaller than 4x5. I know there are a few people on here that dabble in that size.

Not quite. It’s 3 1/4 x 4 3/4, about 15mm too long for 3x4 equipment. I have no idea what uses that.

your right, for some reason I saw 108mm which is 4.25in (technically 4.252in)

8.2x11.8 cm == 3.228 x 4.646 inches

3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches == 8.255 x 10.795 cm

Looks like the film is 8.2 x 10.8cm - which would make it a standard size.

Unless the box has a printing error, this is definitely not 3x4. 3x4 is 81 x 106.4mm according to ISO spec.

I would imagine the (posited) 8.2 x 10.8 cm dimensions are the Japanese specification for what we call "3 1/4 x 4 1/4" and Europe calls 81 x 106.4 mm. Not everything is ISO.

Sheet film in the US is slightly undersized from its ASA dimension to make easily slide into an film holder. After the undersizing the dimensions are likely closer to the JIS and ISO numbers

Sheet film is 1-2mm under nominal. Not 12 whole mm, that’s not how that works.

This is "quarter plate" film ("whole plate" is 6-1/2" x 8-1/2", this appears to be half of each dimension on a side). Owners of certain compact ancient British cameras should jump on it!

My point is that more than likely the box either has a printing error or the OP's OP has a typo: The film is in reality 8.2x10.8cm, not 8x2x11.8.

The film is bog standard 3.25x4.25" size film - quarter plate, if you will.

the boxes do in fact say 11.8cm and there were other film stocks in this format (pro160ns and provia) that I have found that said 8.2x11.8cm for what it is worth. Also, these boxes are almost the exact same size as fuji 4x5 boxes if that answers anything. The mystery continues?

I'll be damned, the 1/4 plate 'cabinet' size is indeed 3.25x4.75". Glass plates are 8.3x12.1cm, film a bit smaller.

that would make sense but the boxes are just ever so slightly smaller than 4x5
