Howdy, I am a wedding photographer as well as shoot basic studio shots. I am considering switching to a digital SLR camera. Please tell me why this would be a good idea, and what camera to use if I did switch to this method of photography. Please send a response to my email redtx36@hotmail.com thank you

If you don't know, should you be in the business?

Hi

I only can tell you why it is a bad idea!
I have the Fuji Fine pixs S2 and I also know the Nikons and they are quite good under Studio conditions where you have the light and the contrast under your controll. But outside on a sunny day the highlights will be just show nothing, they are the worst thing on a contrasty scene!
Even slide film are much better!
In the studio and on a overcast day okay! But maybe the next generation of pixelhorses will make it!
