220 roll processed normally (Velvia 50) folded over back to back (dip and dunk machine, yet another reason I hate dip and dunk), the film stuck together back to back (non emulsion side to non emulsion side) in the dryer in certain places.

Trying to pry it apart in water just a little reveals that it'll tear part of the back coating off one side and leave it on the other, tested it on one small spot, left it sitting in water + wetting agent for several minutes, to no avail, hasn't budget, so have left it soaking over night.

Since it's on the real of the film it shouldn't tear off any emulsion/image, but I still don't want to have to photoshop out the marks that'll get left behind.

I'm assuming the rear coating is also gelatin, anyway to separate that cleanly, or is it likely to have fused together homogenously?

Sadly confirmed you need to separate before they start to dry, some films are double coated but even single coated will superglue themselves together, in my darkroom...

Dip it in warm (not hot!) water with a drop of dish washing liquid. In a minute or so they will separate by themselves.

Apart from that one small spot I tried peeling apart under water to see if it'd be okay, it's now unstuck and undamaged, it peeled apart without much resistance after an overnight sock in water + wetting agent  (30 mins wasn't enough at yesterdays point of testing looks like).

The shots are from the snow, on Mt. Asahidake in Hokkaido, Japan.

I think you may need to stabilise it again as the final wash you gave it, may have depleted the inbuilt stabilisation now inherent in the process instead of the last step before drying. On the other hand it may not be required.
