Good News! The combination of hardener step and final rinse in distilled water seems to have solved the problem. After waxing, the print looks glossy just as before the sepia toning.
Placed print in tray of hardener (Tetanel hardener 25ml per liter) and agitated for 3 mins. Final rinse 3mins in distilled water.
Thanks to all for your suggestions especially to those who recommended the hardener.
