Anybody know?

From the fact sheet on Ilford's website it appears the 902 safelight kicks in at around 560nm...is that about right?

Murray

I imagine that that's why Ilford would give such a figure on the fact sheet!

It's in graph form, and I'm just double checking...

Murray

No problem, and thanks for the link :smile:

Murray

You're right Murray. The 902 filter cut out most of the visible and UV light and only starts to transmit light at 560nm and longer wavelength.

Thanks Chan Tran.

The 902 filter cut out most of the visible and UV light ...

To be expected of a safelight suited to VC papers;
a big loss of the visible. Filters suited to Graded
papers offer another story. Dan
