Wash aid recommendation

I have been using Adorama wash aid, but this is no longer available. This was a concentrate which one uses at 1:40 dilution, and 1l working strength solution had a capacity of about ten 8x10 prints, just right for a typical printing session. Ilford makes one which dilutes 1:4, which means I have to store the working solution between printing sessions... Recommendations?

Liquid concentrates Orbit Bath or Heico Permawash. You can get them at B&H and other photo suppliers. They appear to be similar to the Ilford product.

When you mix up a batch, it doesn't last very long, so I make my own, only as much as I need at the time.

It's easy to mix your own wash-aid as needed. One Tablespoon of sodium sulfite per liter works fine. Adding a pinch of sodium bisulfite or metabisulfite gives you a wash aid that is very similar to Kodak's HCA, just without the sequestering agents. If you water quality is halfway good, this will work just fine. If not, mix it with distilled water. Mix what you need for a session. Even with distilled water, it's a lot cheaper than packaged products.
