Well ....
There are not a lot of moderators to go around.
And we would rather not be involved in legitimate transactions, because we really don't need your private shipping and financial information.
If the Conversation is initiated by the potential seller, they control whether or not another party can be added to the Conversation. So you would need to start another Conversation yourself, and ad them and us.
All that being said, if you need our help, and can be patient with time differences and availability, I'd be unlikely to refuse.

I've only had one bad experience here, as did David Goldfarb and a moderator on the LFP Info forum, and ironically it was items free for the cost of the postage/shipping. The three of us paid nothing arrived. Not naming and shaming, as he no longer posts, and it was many years ago.

But a point John King/BMbiker makes is valid, any scammers need reporting to other Forums.

We all have to be vigilant.

I have also passed this onto a couple of UK based sites. If he tries again, he will almost certainly change his name. Is it possible I can I have his E mail address please so I can pass that on too.

His name probably came from a random word generator. Noun+Verb. Combine them, do a quick Google search to see nothing shows up.
