Want to Buy Wanted: Ilford 500 4x5 mixing box and plate for durst laborator 1000

Hi Everybody.

I have a durst laborator 1000, with an ilford 500 head. I already have the 6x7 and 35mm mixing boxes, but am missing a 4x5 mixing box and adaptor.

Hope someone out there have one to sell.

I contacted light wave and they said they neither had any ilford 500 stuff in stock, nor were they willing to custom manufacture a 4x5 mixing box for me.
So I'm still looking!

Very strange!! - they made a set of light mixing boxes for a friend of mine last Summer.

Seems like another 'old reliable' firm has disappeared from our choice of suppliers.

Any sheet metal work shop worth their salt should be able to knock one up.

Does anybody happen to have the dimensions for the 4x5 mixing box plus the adaptor plate?

4x5 box is 143mm W x 117mm D x 160mm H.

There is no need for a mounting plate it fits the hole in the Ilford box.
The two side holes are 32mmH x 25mmW and 58mm from the bottom edge, in the centre
A couple of dimple stop the box falling through the hole, a few self tapping screw in the side should fix that problem.
The top is a lid made to be removed from some reason.
