Before I tear up another pair of eyeglass lenses, I'd like to Buy a replacement original ("glass") eyepiece for my FA. (no correction) and a DK-3 Nikon eyecup.

I use a rubber hose gasket. It doesn't stay forever but they only cost a few cents compared to ~$30

sent from phone. excuse my typing.

Bump.

"O" rings also work, but eventually fall off. I Just thought someone might have one from a broken camera that wasn't going to be repaired.

I just checked them out too, but they are hard plastic, it seems.

I believe the generic ones are indeed hard plastic. I just bit the bullet and paid the price for a genuine Nikon eyepiece with rubber. In the end it was well worth the price.

one is plastic, but they have a different one in aluminum for around $8. However, the plastic might be easier on plastic eyeglass lenses.

you could email the repair shops given the fitting is common someone may have an original part from a scrap camera.

It is either prescription specs or rubber so I bought new old stock.
