Maybe you should move to the Durham I used to live in - Durham, Durham County, North Carolina! Maybe three snows a year, melts in one day usually. Nice mild Piedmont weather in the Southern USA.

I have no desire to go anywhere else. I was born 25 miles from where I live now, travelled the world in the Armed Forces and came back home (almost) The country is largely unpopulated except around Newcastle. The coastline has the finest beaches in the UK but as it is on the cool side they are undeveloped. It has some of the finest historical places and people are friendly To help us cope the beer is the best in the world. Nope, I am staying put!
