Waiting for the ice

I have no desire to go anywhere else. I was born 25 miles from where I live now, travelled the world in the Armed Forces and came back home (almost) The country is largely unpopulated except around Newcastle. The coastline has the finest beaches in the UK but as it is on the cool side they are undeveloped. It has some of the finest historical places and people are friendly To help us cope the beer is the best in the world. Nope, I am staying put!

I live in the desert southwest. It snows but rarely lasts past 10am. and things dry up before becoming ice in most cases.
