This is an interesting little lens. Collinear was the Voigtlander 'Dagor'. It was 6 elements, 2 groups symmetrical like a Dagor. But if you look at design pics the inny's and outy's are different.

The lens groups tend to be thicker than an equivalent Dagor too, so they don't quite cover as much. However, full plate for a 150mm is quite an achievement. That's what the 1905 catalog states, and indeed, I put it on the V11 Deardorff and measured about 280mm of image circle at f45.

It's also generally felt that the Series II Extra Rapid was a bit of a push. iow they fudged image quality at that widest aperture for the advertising department. That was always considered a bad thing until lately, with soft focus getting a lot of attention, not so much maybe.

It has a really pleasant look wide open. I think it would be a good choice for some environmental portraits perhaps on 4X5. This particular lens has some "bloom" happening inside. Some say that's good, that's how we thought of coatings, some say it's bad. Whatever. Wide open I see some flare.

It's a pretty little thing, but I don't think it's worth much. $141 + shipping would suffice. Flange is there!! Lensboard stays with me.

Sorry, no. I should have updated this long ago. Thanks for the interest. Jim
