For Sale Voigtländer 40mm f/1.4 MC In Leica M Mount, $309 shipped, as new

Fantastic lens that was purchased new from Cameraquest (with a full US warrantee) on January 14th 2022, you still have warrantee in effect for a year.

I’m constantly floored how great this lens is especially when compared to a (much) more expensive Leica or Zeiss counterpart. The lens is truly ‘as new’ in the original box with both the Voigtländer caps.

Also included is a super cool compact shade that I found online which makes the camera and 40mm a perfect little daily carry film camera. $329 (net) shipping Priority Mail in the US.

This is a solid lens – it's been great on my R3A. GLWS.

Who makes the shade? I've got this lens and the matching 35, and the VC vented shade is wider in comparison.

I found it on Shapways, it’s such a perfect shade for the lens.

I’m not a fan of the larger round shade, I feel like this one gives the lens better physical protection, much better shading and looks better. Especially on a smaller camera like a CL or CLE. It’s a bit pricy but worth it.

They are designed to wear well, I used the same kind on a 35mm 1.4 on an everyday carry for over a year and it got shiny as it wore but was still quite sturdy.
