This is designed for recording home movies (e.g. super 8) onto video tape, but it should also work using a digital camera. The idea is to use a film projector to project your home movies onto the small ground glass screen, and then to record this image with a camcorder through another “port” on the unit that has a close-up lens. It has a rotatable mirror to redirect the lens to a “straight through” mode for recording 4x6” photos illuminated by a fluorescent tube. I don’t have the AC adaptor or batteries, but I believe that the fluorescent tube is burnt out. It also has a number of RCA jacks to add sound/music to your recording.
