When I spoke with Pamela , I was sure she was a professor and at that time was able to look at all the works that were available, She was interested in the connection to ebay sales which I was aware of.

Sorry, I didn't make my point clearly : "professor" is only a teaching job title having to do with tenure and pay level, not evidence of expertise or intellectual status or credibility outside their fields. Assistant professors and non-professors and teachers are often more highly expert and credible than professors in their own departments.

Professors do not have special credibility outside their fields. Some will remember Linus Pauling, Nobel physicist and vitamin-c/cancer fake. https://www.theatlantic.com/health/...myth-why-we-think-we-need-supplements/277947/

Full professors at Canadian Universities are, in most cases, extremely accomplished and well respected.
It is extremely difficult to achieve the status of full professor at our universities - there are relatively few full tenured positions, and many, many, many who aspire to them.
I have no direct knowledge of how easy or difficult it is to achieve that status at Professor Bannos' institution.
And Professor Bannos is a professor of photography, so seems to have been working within her field while putting together her book.

PAUL OFFIT, MD, is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author of Do You Believe in Magic? The Sense and Nonsense of Alternative Medicine.
@ the bottom of the link, maybe need some vitamin b to help with attention.

Personally dont see what titles have to do with anything. The author seems to of written events similar to the BBC documentary and other independent accounts.
