Vitamin C shelf life?

Found an unopened bottle of vitamin C crystals I forgot I had. How long is this stuff any good as a developer/additive?

As long as it was unpoened, a LONG time. It's just ascorbic acid, so as long as its still a dry powder, you're good.

The uncontaminated powder will last a very long time as long as it is kept sealed, away from light, with limited air. Solutions spoil rather quickly.
