For example , some Leitz lens MTF Charts are very characteristic , if the sagittal resolution dives down , tangential climbs and reverse.
Every older Leitz lens have this.
There are two reasons for that,
If the sagittal resolution , line contrast climbs more than the all other competitors , it captures every detail but it is harsh and not eye friendly like we see at all these MF Pentax and Mamiya lenses.
Leica makes art with tangential mtf curve and it loses the resolution and see everything with the eye of oil water color painter.
That makes curves , degrades , skin smoother and glow.
When you put these two images one on top of other , this is Leica.
I was listening Bach from youtube from 80s and I found camera VHS resolution was so poor , everything looks like a impressionist painting.
Any idea to build a viewfinder with changing resolution ?
