I toned a print on Fomatone MG Classic in Viradon for about 30 sec, then washed for 5-10 minutes and put it in a Tetenal Gold toner. I'm not sure how long it was there, but the result was a interesting, actually pretty cool, pink/salmon tone in the mid- and highlights. Shadows were neutral or possibly a bit cool.

I know you will get a red print if you gold tone a sepia toned print. Thought it would be interesting to see what happened with a polysulfide toner instead of sodium sulfide.

I got some incredible results the first time I tried this combo quite by accident, using Forte PWT. Pinky brown highlights and blue brown shadow. AMAZING for portrait work, such as nudes.
