I've acquired a few old rangefinders (okay, technically these are not rangefinders, but that's another thing) as I figure out what I actually want in a vintage camera, and I have a few that are non- or semi-functional which are now for sale, cheap. I'm never going to have the time to learn how to work on them, so out they go! I'm starting with two old Zeiss cameras:

1 - Zeiss Ikon 521/16 with case. 7.5cm f/4.5 Novar lens and a Zeiss Klio shutter. Focus is a bit sticky and the shutter sticks at slower speeds (B to 1/10), seems right at 1/25-1/200 settings. The lens is also quite clouded on the front and rear elements, although the aperture does stop down correctly.

2 - Zeiss Ikon Nettar 518/16 with case. 75mm f/4.5 Novar lens and Prontor SVS shutter. Shutter sticks badly at all settings, so I can't verify much else. The transfer bar linking the body shutter release to the lens does not work. Cosmetically everything else about this one is beautiful, but it's a fixer-upper.

3 - Minolta Semi P (645) - 75mm f/3.5 Chiyoko Promar lens and Konan-Flicker shutter (B, 1/2-1/200 s). Everything apparently works, but the slower shutter speeds seem a little too slow. I haven’t verified with extensive testing, this would be a good project camera. Minolta sold

Asking $30 each plus shipping.

Technically speaking, these are not rangefinder cameras.
They focus by scale.
However, they are capable of capturing excellent images.
Good luck with the sale.
