Anyone have suggestions or technique to removing stuck lens elements? I have a Eastman Anastigmat 18 1/2" lens and cannot remove the front lens group from the barrel. I would like to take the lens apart to perform a good cleaning.

Cheers,
David

Ask Jim Galli. He would probably have a good idea for that specific lens. Personally, I keep a box full of old metal rings from various places - filters, broken lenses, telescope parts, etc. I find a ring that closely fits what I need, wrap it in masking tape or use a silicon may to protect the glass and get a tight fit, and twist.
