Vito IIa here. Very similar to Vito II. There is something to be said for either of them. The best description I can think of is class. Remember that Voigtlander was founded in 1756.
And the attention of Voigtlander designers to ergonomic details: In the Vito IIa, the rewind button sitting flush below the top plate, that pops out when needed. The serrated bar that provides an easy yet safe way to open the back. The two little pedals to unlock the folding movement. In the Perkeo, the film holders that swing out to make loading easier.

Some minor viewfinder repairs needed - the half-silvered mirror for the framelines was loose (very distracting), RF adjustment, removed remains of disintegrated gasket under rewind knob. All back together now. I took this mostly to play with the tabletop light box.

This arrived here from Germany within the last couple of weeks. The lens is a Schneider 270mm Tele Arton and the 4x5/9x12 sliding roll back makes this fast to use. I am going to use 4x5 Graphmatics in it for now.

This is all original Plaubel Peco Profia from the 70s.

I have a Plaubel Peco Profia just like yours and have really enjoyed it. A couple of years ago I found it's 5X7 big brother which now has a meter of bellows as well as the short wide angle set up.Full kit.

I have two 4x5 Plaubel Peco Profias in my studio, the second one is exactly like your wide angle configuration above.

Not lightweight but that is what I like about them. More like the Rock of Gibraltor comes to mind.

I can put a Sinar Norma Shutter on mine, so it works with all my longer barrel lenses.
