Definitely a great book. One of the best ever. It breaks the technical aspects of photography down to the most basic of basics. Clear, simple illustrations as well as the math behind photography. You will understand how a camera works after reading this book. I got REAL lucky and found mine at Goodwill for $1.25 - it is well worth the $30 he is asking.
