Reader, I bought one. A quiet purchase I had, for I did it on the computer: I alone was present, with my credit card. When the thing arrived, I went into the kitchen of the manor-house, where my wife was cooking the dinner and sharpening the knives, and I said — “Gulp. Darling, I have spent a little money.”
Apologies to Charlotte Brontë.

Strap seems just the job so far. It does allow me to carry the camera lens-down. It’s exactly the right length (I am 6ft 1in), and the much vaunted elasticity is so subtle as to be imperceptible with an M6 and 50mm Summicron suspended. In case some future reader needs to know.

That would look so sweet on a Leica. For a bag I suggest something from a grocery store check out line to complete the look.

& then only shoot outdated or x-ray film...because of the expense

Be brave and proud, I mean some things can look pretty or beautiful to me, even cute if it's a puppy, but I'll defend your right to call a camera 'sweet'.

I'm also oblivious to all the ways companies find to take money out of the wallets of Leica users and if the difference between social snobbery, or robbery, is saying 'look at my fancy camera bag, it must have something expensive in it', I'll take the grocery bag thank you.
