very soft-feeling inkjet paper?

One of the only shortcomings of inkjet is the tactile aspect of inkjet papers.

Certainly the are infinitely more inkjet paper options, and some non-inkjet papers work well, depending on what one is after. For example, I've used Japanese "rice paper" stationary with great success, though my source has vanished.

What I'd really like is something warm toned, soft-feeling, and ideally deckle edged (4 sides) in card size (under 5X7) like some of the antique prints in my collection.

Any ideas?

If you can find the paper you like, you can coat it for receiving the ink. I've seem lots of nice paper, with raw, natural edges for alternative process, but it is large size paper and still was only 1 or 2 raw edges. You can probably buy handmade paper with raw edges, but don't know about 5 x 7. In any case, the edge is not like a true deckle cut. It has its own look.

If you want a real deckle edge, buy a deckle edge cutter and cut the paper you like yourself to look like an antique.
