First, as stated earlier, condition means a lot. So a photo may not give all the information needed. In particular, fungus and separation in a less can reduce it's value to a small percentage of what it might otherwise be worth.

Second, much depends on how you're selling it. If you are selling something that you don't really know whether its working or not, then you can expect a lot less.

Third, if you want to maximize the value of what you've found, a $24 (there was a url link here which no longer exists) will pay for itself many times over. eBay will take roughly 10% of your selling price, APUG takes nothing (although it's typical to donate 3%). And as you've already discovered, this site is where the market for older film equipment is.

If it's really a very large number of items of unknown condition, you may have no choice but to try to contact a local dealer who can help assess what you have. For instance, a Speed Graphic in good condition with a decent lens is a saleable item; if it's damaged and the shutter is bad maybe not so much. If you gave us a clue to where you were maybe someone knows someone who could help.

press camera ( speed graphic? or crown graphic ) format ? measure the ground glass, it was 2x3, 3x4 or 4x5 ... speed graphics have a wind key and a shutter near the ground
glass. go to graflex.org to learn more about them

folding camera like a "vest camera" again, medium format maybe an obsolete film size, kodak made a different format for every folding camera it seems
just google kodak folding camera you will find lots of -fan sites-

old movie camera maybe 8mm who knows there were a lot of old formats .. there are probably lots of vintage movie camera sites

movie camera again no idea what format look up vintage movie camera sites

plate camera used glass plates ( dry plates ) instead of film measure the ground glass under the flap it will give you a clue what to look up on eBay for
the format size to get an idea of its value

google rolieflex you will learn a lot of this one ...

see above about plate camera ... measure the ground glass, look for name tags on the camera itself
and google the name like anything else

====

i didn't say anything about the konica, the medalist or the 2 enlargers
but most of the things you have posted can be easily researched on eBay using the name on the lens, the name stamped on the body or format size measure the ground glass,
the film spools the "film gate" ( area of exposure ) . you will see oodles of these cameras so you can get an idea
of what they might be worth. as others have told you condition is everything. the movie cameras are spring wound they might be worthless other than
a shelf - queen

if you want to sell them here you need to buy an apug subscription, selling out of threads like this isn't allowed and you might get the thread locked down or deleted
if you entertain offers &c ...

a local junk store / antiques flea market, boot sale, stoop sale, yard sale craigs list might be your best way to sell this stuff
there is a lot of stuff to id unless you sell stuff as "a "lot" of unknown format movie cameras of "unknown condition"

just put photographs of the actual "stuff" on your eBay sell page and put it in the general photography area ..
buyers seem to be savvy these days and will know what you have, you will just have to respond to their questions
that you found them in a neighbor's basement and you have no idea what they are or if they work, like every other eBay seller,
with the exception being it is true

good luck !

Great advice jnanian... if you're selling on Ebay, post nice, sharp pictures and be honest about the description. You will be surprised on how much you will get, even if you say the condition is unknown. There was a gal selling hundreds of old folders and rangefinders for a collector, and they were all sold as is. I bought a few items myself, but it was amazing how EVERYTHING sold. Some of the folders that were beat up only got $10, but others that were nice got $30 to $40.
It will eat up a lot of time posting the stuff on ebay, but if you're not in a hurry, you will come out way ahead. Just be prepared to have to box everything up to ship, that's the hassle. Finding someone to help identify the items will make it so much easier. But most of all don't just give it away to someone offering $100 for the whole lot... you've got individual items there that will grab more than $100 each.
Best of luck

Why doesn't this happen to people that want the stuff? That goes for old tools, cameras, paintings, whatever.

I just hope these are all functioning cameras and not broken ones kept for spare parts for your sake and the film camera community. Sounds like a lot of work to sell it all, but please dont just dump throw it all out to save time, send it all to KEH.com if nothing else. Heck, box up some grab bags (boxes) and sell them to APUG members.

KEH tend to be more into slightly more modern stuff, and they don't come up to Canada all that often.

I would consider contacting Whiteymorange here on APUG to see if his connection with the Photographic Historical Society of New England ("PHSNE") might yield some contacts in the New Brunswick area.

Here is a link to the PHSNE website: http://phsne.org/aboutus.html

if you are posting stuff for sale or to get bids/offers from apug members,
you need a subscription and to do this in the classifieds section not in an open thread

unless youre giving it away for FREE and in that case it goes in the FREE FREE thread..

if you google konica twin lens reflex you will find lots
https://www.google.com/search?q=kon...298#rls=en&tbm=isch&q=konica+twin+lens+reflex
to help you ID the one/ones you have
