I found these guys on You Tube last year, who do a show called 'The Film Show'.
It's a great view into production style of work, and they shoot film!

Very talented shooters.

I only come across people who are not interested in film photography at all or are not communicative or into mingling.

One of the things I was thinking while watching was that it has been too long since I've been to a workshop/seminar/get together/meet up with buddies that like film.

Locally it does take a little effort to find people though. Local photo clubs aren't too bad if you can turn the conversation to lighting or composition or get them on a field trip.

Our open house the other night was full of film shooters,

It took me back to the golden day of lab work where film was king and all the shooters congregated at the end of a day to call the film.
