After a very long wait and trying to support Galaxy Photo, I think it important to share my experiences with this company. As film photography is moving forward to better and better opportunities for equipment, film and supplies there is no room for how Galaxy has treated its customers.
I participated in a successfully funded kickstarter campaign for their Photographer's Handbook project. I never got my promised reward after a year of delays only to find that the Handbook had been available online at Amazon and B and H photo. No response to inquiries, no apologies, no explanations. They simply took our money and ran.
They even tried a second attempt on Indiegogo.
Here are just a few of many, many comments on their kickstarter page:

Anyone else still interested in pursuing this?

Their Facebook pages have not been active for months. I tracked down the personal profile of one of the members of 'team galaxy' and she also has not posted anything for months. It seems they are in hiding.

People, put messages on their facebook page, every where you can. They are scammers and others people must know the truth.

Is there anyway of finding out how many people didn't receive this? It looks like they had another Kickstarter in July that they might not have delivered on, judging by the comments.

Still no book. Still no reply from Galaxy. Looks like they pocketed our money and did a runner. Shameful.

Still no book - Think I've been robbed like so many others who backed this - they are unresponsive and it reeks of something dodgy
I finally got the book after a long delay. I think it was August 2016. It came with coupons for next years book. I got a nice red leather book. So, they did deliver some of them. I threw away the coupons and the Galaxy literature, knowing I wasn't interested in any future dealings with them. Good Luck.
I've had the same problem but thought it was a lone incident. I tried various ways of communicating without response before finally(weeks later) having an email exchange with a member of the Galaxy team. They apologized, alluded to some campaign troubles and promised to mail me a new planner/notebook.
We shall see.
