SOLD

This camera has been sitting idle for far too long and needs to be in the hands of photographer to use it. While it cannot be described as "Mint", it is in very good physical shape; please see photos. It's just too nice to sit on a shelf, so I put it under the magnifying glass and did the following:
  • General cleaning of interior and exterior.
  • Installed new "Jon Goodman" light seals.
  • Confirmed lens is clean, clear and functions properly.
  • Confirmed shutter speeds sound typical for a camera of this era; nothing stands out as irregular.
  • Confirmed NO prism rot.
  • Confirmed battery compartment is clean and clear; cap removes easily.
  • Confirmed meter works and matches my Seconic Litemaster Pro L-478D incident meter when pointed at a grey card.
  • Confirmed PC terminal as well as shot shoe are operational; has original PC cap over port.
This camera come with the original box (shopworn) and manual (foam is missing from box), funky original-era "hippy strap" with two film roll bands, front and rear lens caps with body cap, SMC Pentax-M 50mm F2 prime lens with Hoya 49mm UV protection filter. NOTE: this is the Hong Kong assembled version, as is identified by a sticker on the base of the camera.

Price includes USPS Priority Mail shipping with insurance and signature delivery.

The camera will be packed well and shipped promptly. As you are undoubtedly aware, shipping has become expensive and insurance and signature delivery fees add-up, so the $120 price really nets me around $100 in the end. Just trying to be fair...

I can take Paypal or a personal check (I will wait for bank clearance before shipping).

PM me if you are interested.

Worth every penny. My good fortune was to have a mint condition of this camera and lens given to me a couple of weeks ago. If not, I would gladly pay the $120.

....... and with the less common (and my preferred type) split image focussing aid as well. A bargain for someone.

Mine has no focusing aid. It's like looking through a big picture window which is nice, too. I checked my KM and it just has a simple circle.

Yes, a bargain. John Titterington has one just like this for $185.
