Most Summitar lenses have haze and scratches. I would say 90% or more of them suffer from one or both of these ailments. This example is very clean. Not perfect but clean and free of scratches or any significant marks. It also is about 95+% clear inside. While I see NO readily apparent haze, even with a flashlight torture test, I'd leave room for a tiny amount to be safe and conservative. There is also a dust speck or two inside - totally insignificant..... Lens is coated and is the earlier version featurning 11 aperture blades and a round aperture. Distance marked in meters. Aperture free of oil - completely dry. Body excellent. $ 250 plus $ 7 shipping in US. Paypal is dcolucci AT aol.com
This is a PERFECT USER example. I would overall grade Excellent condition or about 90% out of 100. Nice example and nice user. 7 day Money back if not as described.
