VDB - just mixed some new solution

I'm having my jr's start doing alt. processes this term. I'll have them shooting 4x5 and start them off with VDB. Just got some new silver nitrate yesterday and mixed up some fresh chemistry today. I usually let it sit a day before using it, but I might not be able to wait. I have a negative I want to try and I'm getting impatient.

I can document their process if anyone wants to see how things turn out.

I've recently started doing some VDB work. Fascinating. I love the subtle tones. That would seem a good place for students' first exposure to alternative processes. I'd be interested in your experiences with the project.
