Has anyone looked into, tried, or know someone who has tried these variable height negative holders for flatbed scanning? Here is a link:

I scan 120 almost exclusively and, depending on the film brand, I find some that roll quite a lot when dry, especially Arista EDU Ultra, which I use quite a bit of for my everyday shooting. When using the 120 holder than came with the 4990, some of these negatives have quite a bow away from the surface, since they are only held by the edges, so I started looking at some of the modifications people we making to improve film flatness. One thing led to another and I came across this referenced site.
The examples seem compelling, but when I searched a the site, I did not find anyone making any reference to them, which I would have expected based on the claims. So I thought I'd ask.
