Vari-focus Camera Obscura Lens for vertical type “bell” shape dark tents.
1000mm f:14 lens. Nominal image: 1870mm in a 92 degree 2220mm illuminated circle.

Most lenses for this application are fixed focus, typically about 1 meter (1000mm, 40”) long.
A horizontal mirror on top of the tent deflects the image down into the lens.
They’re generally fix focused at infinity for a full landscape vie
The image falls on a surface about 3’~ 4’ below the lens.

This lens is focus-able, objects closer than your backyard trees can be selectively focused.
Extending the lens tube forward is the same as racking your 4x5 lens forward for a close-up portrait.
With your sketch pad on the table, a cut film holder, a collodion wet plate, a direct positive paper easel, or…
