Hi All,
I need to scan lots of 8"x10" HP5 and it seems the Epson V800 or V850 would be the way to go.
I've done quit a bit of research and can't see $200 worth of advantage to the V850, am I missing something obvious?
Thanks in advance,
Rory

I have the V859, I think the main diff is the SilverFast software version

The main things I remember are the inclusion of the Xrite calibration software and a second set of holders. I think the version of Silverfast is the same limited version. There is probably the same difference with an added lens coating like with the v700 vs v750 but there has always been a debate about the true value of this coating. Since you are scanning 8x10, the second set of holders isn't going to be of value since there isn't an 8x10 holder.
