Using Search is not all it's cracked up to be

We are in the process of setting up a darkroom and buying an enlarger. Actually, my 14 year old son is pretty much doing the whole thing. The Search function is nice, but not always a big help. I'm sure I'll be asking questions that have been asked before. Please ignore or bear with me. Thanks.

One thing to read is the long "Darkroom Portraits" thread at the top of this subforum--

You'll see darkrooms of all sorts in every kind of space where someone is likely to build a darkroom. It's one of the best threads on APUG.

the Darkroom Portraits thread is magnificent as a resource and as something to drool over. That said, I have had great luck getting fellow APUGers to answer all of my stupid questions and they've done it cheerfully and happily so ask away!

try the ilford film site , they have some pdf files that give very good and specific directions. including equipment and how to's
