I had one of those with my Mamiya camera, That and the 75 were some of the best glass I ever used on 6x9.

I just saved a mamiya 75mm from a dumpster...It is marked AP, which I take it means it is rated for a 3x4 polaroid. Basically new, coated lens. Gotta get it going on the mini-speed.

Michel, what do you mean by popping of the film during night exposures ?
I'n quite new to LF, just took the plunge with 4x5 few weeks ago, but night/twilling photography is one of my main intentions, so eventially I'll be interested to understand the potential issues I may face with in the field.

Thanks, Alex

Alex,

Sometimes, (due to changes in humidity?) the film shifts positions during long exposures and you end up with unsharp images due to the change in the plane of focus. I called it "popping" because the change often happens suddenly, resulting in a double image.

Jason, I finally got around to counting reflections. Taped a piece of paper over the hole in the shutter so I could look at just one side, reinserted shutter, and counted away. The lens, oversized outer elements or no, conforms to Bertele's 1955 patent, US 2,721,499. Two menisci, two cemented elements in front; one meniscus and three cemented elements in back.

Cheers,

Dan

Just looked at the image and the point of focus -- the hands -- is very crisp on my monitor.
