I have a Bolex camera made for double 8 film, which is basically 16mm with two images per frame, since double 8 is only made by a few companies but double perforated 16mm stock is widely sold, is there any way that I can use this in that camera?

No.
Double-8 does not only mean two rows of holes like those at double-perforated 16mm film, but also twice the number of holes per row.

The other way round would work, using Double-8 stock in a 16mm camera.

Ah that’s disappointing thank you.

I shoot 16 mm and Super 8, but I have seen sources for Double perforated film for regular 8 film. I don’t remember who, but you should be able to find a dealer through the Internet. There debate still rages about which is sharper...Super 8 with plastic cassette and larger frame or regular 8 with smaller frame but with camera pressure plate.

Double-8 film is offered still, but the OP experienced double-perforated 16mm film as offerd cheaper and without hassle. That is why he hoped he could use that instead.
