I just clicked through to "Albums" under Media. What a great idea! Colin's street project would be a great place to included in Albums. My hiking "I was there" snaps should probably be in an album. A great way to organize various themes we might be working on and sharing a body of work rather than just singles that have no context.

Give it a try. I think it's a great under used feature of Photrio.

Looks like:
  1. choose "add media"
  2. then choose "add to album"
  3. then when it asks which album, choose: "create an album"
and a dialog box pops up to create the album.

My question is whether images added to albums still show up in the "latest gallery photos"... for a while the "latest gallery" was getting swamped by people adding to albums.... I might make an album of salt prints if they won't all show up on the "front page" as I'm adding them...

i think if you move them they don't appear on the front page its all done in stealth mode
but if you add them " fresh " its like anything else that is added as new media

When I click on the "Albums" tab in Eric's Profile, I see two choices.
The one titled "Hiking" takes me straight to a bunch of images.
The one titled "Member Album by Eric Rose" takes me to a message that says: "no media has been added yet""

That implementation is problematic - it should instead say something like "you have chosen to exclude some or all of the type media in this Album".
