I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some other places to buy medium format gear that isn't KEH? I have no problem with that place, i think it's great actually. But are they any other places that compare? i'm specifically after Mamiya gear and i tend to avoid ebay like the plague if i can. And on that note if anyone has a Mamiya 645 /pro AE prism finder please get in touch!

Used Photo Pro is an amazing place. The customer service is exceptional. I have had over 70 purchases from them over the years and they stand behind their 6 month warranty and also their 14 day return policy. Their inventory changes over often, so keep checking back. Their rating system is true as opposed to the recent (past couple of years) trend with Japan based eBay sellers (EXC+++ with haze ?) and their photographs are of the actual item.

Thankyou! Bookmarked that place immediately

I discovered a small Hasselblad-only dealer in my area through eBay, he's awesome.

And whom might that be? Please enable my GAS. It has been several years since I bought a Hasselblad lens. Please

there is an excellent condition Sekor C 500mm f/5.6 up right now (usedphotopro.com)... if I had the Mamiya 645 system I would be all over this beast.

You can ignore individuals selling, you can ignore Japanese sellers (big mistake though), but eBay is full of small US-based gear shops with great ratings and decent return policy. I discovered a small Hasselblad-only dealer in my area through eBay, he's awesome.[/QUOTE]
Yeh, i see what you're saying. i got burned by gear from Japan that wasn't the photo /nowhere near the quality i expected when paying so i'm a little wary. But i will be mindful of sifting through to find some good fair deals. Thanks for the reply.

Sirius, you need to grab that bright red 503CW. I bet you don't have one of those! :D

I am holding out for bright blue replacement covers for all my Hasselblad equipment including the film backs.

Another vote for Roberts Camera. I've bought a bunch of stuff from there and everything was exactly as described.

I just bought the Rolleiflex 6008AF shown on the website here; like new in box and a like new 80mm AF lens for it. They have a lot of other very clean or like-new medium format items also.
