Use E-6 blix for RA-4 or something else?

A while ago, I bought a Paterson Chrome-6 kit for developing E-6 film. Unfortunately, the developer (the first, IIRC) went off before I could use the whole kit, so I ditched both developers. I still have some of the other chemicals, though -- namely, the stabilizer and the blix. I've since bought a Kodak E-6 kit, which uses separate bleach and fix steps, and I'd prefer to use that. I was wondering, though, if the Chrome-6 blix might be useable for RA-4 processing. It's OK if it's not optimal, as long as it wouldn't throw off the color balance; I was thinking of using it for test prints. The Chrome-6 blix ships in two separate bottles that are mixed together with water. Alternatively, if these are actually bleach and fixer, are there other potential uses, such as using the fixer for B&W film? I don't want to risk ruining my film experimenting, but if I can avoid throwing away good chemistry, that'd be great. Thanks for any advice.
