Actually I've never used it with black and white operations before and I don't think it will work.
I used the mighty copper bleach with black and white and its results were very impressive,

Deionized water 700ml 52C
Pot. Alum ........................ 20g
Sid. sulfate ....................... 25g sulfate not sulfite
Copper sulfate .................. 40g
pot. bromide ..................... 20g
sulfuric Acid (Conc) ............ 5 ml
water Up to ...................... 1 L

If you are required (according to your formula in black and white) not to use (pot. Bromide) - as some formulas state that ,,, you can use the following formula.
Deionized water 700ml 70 C
Copper sulfate .............................. 316 g
Sodium chloride (without iodine) ..... 316 g
sulfuric Acid (Conc) ...................... 2 ml
water Up to .................................. 1 L
This liter can live with you until the Day of Resurrection ,,
It is filtered (using a cotton swab) after treating 10 rolls and it returns again as it was, but the quantity decreases slightly, do not add water after filtering it, and do not worry about any deposits, in any case it will work well,

If you want the best results for this whitening solution,
I advise you to use anhydrous copper sulfate (white), of course, it will be a little more expensive, but it is better and gives great results ,, if you use it with the process ( E6 ) or (C41) you will not need to use a stop solution before or after bleaching, but with aqueous copper sulfate (blue) You will definitely need a stop solution before and after bleaching to get rid of the traces of copper (but with black and white processes) there is no problem.
