Upcoming Show at the Valley Photo Center

[Peter Schrager]

I've been invited by Gene Laford; director of the VPC in Sringfield, Mass. to have a show. I'll be showing 25 prints. Ten of which are of NYC on the last of the Ilford Matte Gallerie Paper and the remaining fifteen of Florida done on AZO.
The Valley Photo Center is located at 1500 Main Street; Tower Square 2nd floor. The show will run from April 3 to May 4, 2007
There will be a reception Thursday April 12 from 5-8 PM. So come on down and say hello if you are in the area.

John-that's quite histerical!! I'll gladly refund you the $.24 if you make it to the show!! All kidding aside the opening is this thursday night. As far as I know we're supposed to have some weather so it just might be me; Gene; and my 86 year old mom that I'm dragging up from Florida... as they say in show biz-come on down!!

Just wanted to tell folks to see Peter's show if you get a chance. I went to the opening night and Pete's images resonate with me a lot. He's too modest - well, maybe not - a photographer! I don't know Peter, there seems to be a bit of subjects to photograph in Florida and your images of the subjects are fantastic.

I also like the small 6x6 sizes of most of the images. It forces you to be more intimate. I like the show and again people, go see it! His images are juxtaposed to the other side of the gallery where HUGE images overwhelm your senses.

Peter, huge regrets from Bruce and Richard and I. As you recall the weather was just not cooperating and it was much worse here than there. I think we got another foot of snow that day.
