unlisted SCA adapter

I got a "340" dedicated adapter, which strange enough is not listed at the Metz SCA register.


I assume it to be the first (and most basic) adapter for Nikon cameras (as "34x" is the SCA code for Nikon).

Right, for Nikon

SCA 340 - Nikon
SCA 343 - Nikon - EM, FA, FE, most AF
SCA 344 - Nikon F3
SCA 346/2 AF - Nikon

There is an ad on eBay Canada sold by someone in South Africa for new Metz 340, with original packaging showing "Metz SCA 340 Flash Adapter for Nikon FE, FG, FM 2, EM"

There also is a 345.

These adapters can be really confusing when two yield the same features.

It seems that Metz themselves lost overview....
