Ahh, but I’ll bet they could be made in a specialist precision shop. I’ve heard there’s one in Arkansas 😏

It should be said that a Hypergon does not look like any other lens. I assume it would take specialized equipment to produce.
 
Well a first rate hypergon in good shape is a LOT shrper than a pin hole,. but the glass here isn't great. I'm working on that problem

What in particular is wrong with the glass?
 
Regarding this camera project, I’ve recently been researching repairing scratched camera lenses. I did a lot of testing on ways to improve lenses that have this problem. Another shot from Gallisteo with the new Superwide camera. T-Max 100 processed in Xtol. 4X5 negative. Unfortunate that the the lens isn't better, but I'm still working on it. Thanks for your attention
