Unicolor Mitchell Duocube vs Mitchell Colorbrator

I was looking for a rare Mitchell Colorbrator, but little luck. I did find several Unicolor Mitchell Duocube packages - was the Duocube also designed by the same Mitchell, and if so, do they do the same thing equally well, or was the Calibrator significantly different?

Yes, Bob designed both, or at least had a hand in designing what you have; but as I understand it, the Colorbrator was his completely.

The Colorbrator is more or less, a more refined version of the Duocube.

I have both, have used both.

I think the main difference, is that the Colorbrator leads you to make a successful colour print, without any prior knowledge. That said, it is a bit of a steep learning curve, but it certainly does that. No other colour analyser that I know of can do this, all other colour analysers require you to get a perfect colour print first

I have to go out today, but maybe tonight I could look at both systems to refresh myself with what both do and their differences.

From just looking, I think you have the complete Duocube kit there.
