Thanks for all your advice last week. I have now found time to refix the negatives, and I recognize my Tri-x again. Unsufficient fixing was probably the problem. A friend says that the negatives may have been a tad to little developed as well, but this is not a major problem. The exposure to light (over a week on my desk) seem not have damaged the negatives significantly.

Please let me show you the difference. First two uploads of the badly fixed negatives. The full picture and a crop around her face:
