hey guys.

finishing up my "spring cleaning", whew, its been an arduous journey so far!!! Got this guy out of storage yesterday, haven't used in months, but its ready to go if you are!!! Packard shutter is in top notch condition(from my limited knowledge of packard shutters), camera itself is in good condition as well. The hinge where the small and large rail sections come together is loose, I jury-rigged a block of wood in there to keep it roughly from straining too much. I was using a 12" b&l lens on this(not included, may be up for sale soon, IDK yet).

needs a good home. bellows has more than 24" of extension in it, they're tight(bellows that is), but completely light-tight. I've run about 100 sheets or so of film through this, mostly in the broad sunlight, no problems whatsoever.

included in sale:

1. camera
2. bellows
3. packard shutter assembly(tube is missing bulb)
4. Ground glass(will pack safely for shipment, CANNOT guarantee the ground glass though, so if it breaks, its on you)

(in picture below, thing on top of bellows is a ruler so you can see how much extension there is on the bellows, for scale)

tripod is NOT included in sale. Camera is sold as-is.

Paypal please

$350 obo+ $25 shipping (UPS Ground w/ tracking)

Looks like a late version of the Agfa Ansco Universal View. Made from 1926 to the mid-1950's. Considered one of the top view cameras in its day. Used by several photographers of note including Andel Adams, Wynn Bullock, Morely Baer and George Hurrell. It will make a great camera with that Packard shutter to use with antique glass. Good luck with the sale.

thanks sharp,

I sure hope a buyer comes soon, I need some more closet space

What's the weight?

thanks!

marek

Hi Marek,

according to my somewhat accurate bathroom scale(digital scale, not mechanical), it reads ~11.2lbs. I'd figure 11-12lbs(at the very heaviest) is a safe bet

great question, I should have included weight in the original posting.
