Add air circulation to the must haves for storing lense and take them out of their cases and bags.
I also store my slr lenses off camera, face down and with lens caps, front from the front, laying on top the open orifice, allowing some air flow through the lenses.
Every now and again I'll sun them and check their condition.
So far so good.
My lenses and cameras are on their own book case alone with other kit.
In ten plus years no sign of fungus, that was no there before I got them and just as important,.there is no increase in the ones that do have fungus in them.
