Im fixing the holder for a vageeswari 8.5 x 15 the design appears common to book form holders generally i have 2 problems
firstly the timber in the rigid section of the slide seems to have shrunk leaving a 2mm gap between the centre sections and a hole at the corner where the centre sections meet the side strip any suggestions for stopping up the holes?
secondly the cloth at the flexible end is shot (pin holes galore) and its separating from the wood any suggestions on what to replace it with? it looks like it was simply black cotton !
any other recommendations or suggestions for there repair?
