Imagine all those images that were lost... It makes me wonder what had happened to all of my wife's great grandfather's negatives...He ran a portrait studio in her city in Japan, that I was able to visit (about 1991). He passed away years before that, though. His grandson (my wife's uncle) was into photography all his life (as a hobby). I should have asked him if any negatives still existed... I'm pretty close to him. He is the one that kick started my journey in photography, by giving me his grandfather's C330 (which I still have!). I'll definitely talk to him about his grandfather, more.
