I'll be able to give a 2 or 3 people a lift up from newcastle airport, I'd rather not go to the station, as I'd have to drive into town

Hi Iggy: main thread is here: ((there was a url link here which no longer exists)) but you may want to go to the end of the thread and work your way back - some of the people around here do tend to waffle on a bit in these threads...

Bottom line is:

Location: Beach House Hotel in Seahouses, Northumberland (i.e. Oop North). See earlier posts for details of booking with the Hotel. If it gets full, there are others nearby as this is a popular holiday location.

Dates: Friday 4th to Sunday 6th April 2008.

Program: bacon, eggs, sausage, fried mushrooms, fried slice, beans (not fried) (probably), orange juice, tea, Follow Dave in car, get lost, drink real ales, take some pictures, lunch, real ales, long walk in the freezing cold (did I mention it is in April and oop north?) take the occasional photo, real ale, take some more pics, real ales, show pictures around back in the pub (purely optional to bring some), real ale, dinner, real ales, sleep. Repeat for two days...

Hope you can make it, Bob.

Actually, I was hoping we might get the chance to drink some real ale too!

Here's a quote from Les' post with the contact information.

Bob's description of the weekend's itinerary is pretty accurate, although we also try to sample the local real ale from time to time...

Since folk may want to arrange their annual holiday around this prestigious event, I thought an end of year bump appropriate. I'm not sure how many have booked, but there may be rooms still available.

Have now booked, the blue campervan will be in attendance with both Norma and I.

Get a shift on Sandeha!

Mark

Really sorry I won't be able to make this one - the date clashes with my wedding anniversary. Obviously if I happen to get divorced between now and early April I will book my room!

Would not a wedding anniversary in Northumberland with your husband be nice? and what a coincidence, all these APUGers staying in the same B&B as yours.
The world is very small after all.

Typical of you, McWhinnie; anything to get out of standing your round!

Am I too late to join in?
Also are we :-
Driving up Friday, taking photographs Sat & Sun & going home Monday
or
Driving up Thursday, taking photos Fri & Sat & going home Sunday
Thanks

Martin

The more the merrier, I would say Martin. I would imagine that there are still rooms available.

Arrive on friday, and personally, I am there untill monday, though I would imagine that some will be leaving on the Sunday. It will be good to meet you.

Regards

Stoo

I'm also going to have to bow out of this one ... hopefully I'll be able to come to the autumn one instead.
